Safa

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 16 May 2026

Your privacy matters to us. Safa was built to help you stay consistent in your prayers — not to collect or profit from your personal information. We keep things simple, and we keep them respectful.

Safa has no user accounts. We never ask for your name, email address, phone number, or address to use the app. What you do in Safa is yours.

Our commitment to you

We believe an act of worship deserves an app that treats your information with care. Wherever possible, the things you track stay on your device. We only use what is genuinely needed to make the app work — and nothing more.

What we use, and why

To give you accurate prayer times and the features you choose to use, Safa relies on a small number of trusted service providers that help the app function. Any information involved is used solely to deliver these features to you — never to build a profile of you, and never for advertising.

Information stays minimal

Your prayer history and preferences live on your device and are removed when you uninstall the app. We do not tie your activity to your identity, and we never ask you to identify yourself in order to use Safa.

What we will never do

The trusted providers that help run the app are permitted to use information only to provide their service to us — never for their own purposes.

You’re in control

Uninstalling Safa removes the information stored on your device. If you ever have a question, a concern, or would like any information related to your use of the app removed, simply reach out — we’ll take care of it.

Children

Safa is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If anything meaningful changes, we’ll update this page and the “Last updated” date above. We’ll always aim to keep it honest and easy to read.
